The former aristocrat’s residence still preserves the distinctive features of an elegant mansion. The hotel is set amidst a luxuriant garden, where along with shrubs and flowers of the Mediterranean maquis you can also find tropical vegetation. The amenities stand out for their elegance and refinement: large halls enriched by the particular, precious and creative paintings by contemporary artists collected over the years by Earl Micangeli, which create a delicate, yet warm atmosphere for a top-quality accommodation.

Rooms

All the rooms, which have been recently refurbished, enjoy a magnificent view of the sea or of the green hilly landscape. They all display a tasteful and elegant furniture and are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar, SAT-TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer and direct Internet connection, in order to satisfy all the needs of our international guests. In addition, some of the Superior rooms and Junior Suites have a sitting corner. Most of the Suites, with a size of more than 40 sqm, are located on the attic floor and boast spacious terraces with a magnificent view: from the Aragonese Castle to Capri, embracing the whole Gulf of Naples. They are all endowed with a wardrobe cabin and a sitting corner, in some cases separate from the sleeping area. Along with the standard comfort, the Suites have a Jacuzzi bathtub. The most exclusive suites are the “Suite Ammiraglio” (Admiral’s Suite) – whose very generous terrace all around the room will make you feel as if you were on a ship’s deck, the “Suite del Castellano” (Castle Suite) enjoying a direct view of the Aragonese Castle and the “Suite Mare e Monti” (Sea & Mountain Suite) whose terrace unfolds both the sea and the green hills of Ischia.

Swimmingpools and Beach

The large outdoor swimming pool (sweet water) is surrounded by a lush park with plenty of flowers all the year round and a comfortable solarium. With a temperature of ab. 28° C, it will be one of your favourite spots for wonderful days of sheer relaxation, enlivened by the special cocktails served at the poolside bar. Inside the SPA area you find the indoor pool: with thermal water at a temperature of circa 36°C, underwater jets and a waterfall for cervical massage, it is considered highly therapeutic. One of the most attractive facilities is certainly the private beach of the hotel. The fine sandy beach, equipped with sun-beds and umbrellas, is located just opposite the hotel and can be reached directly from the pool by walking along a tree-lined path. A small snack will provide you the taste of the typical cuisine of Ischia also on the beach.

SPAS

The therapeutic properties of thermal water fully unfold with thermal mud treatments, thermal baths or showers with ozone. At the SPA it is also possible to benefit from aerosol and inhalation applications. For all the treatments a prior medical visit is required. At our Beauty Center it is possible to choose among beauty and wellness treatments ranging from traditional massages such as anti-stress massage to the most innovative treatments such as chocolate massage or skin-peeling with baobab leaves, Indian massage, Shiatsu, bio-energetic massage or Reiki energy therapy. The Beauty Center includes a wellness area hosting Turkish steam bath, sauna, Kneipp-path, aroma- and chromotherapy facilities as well as aroma showers.
